ROCHESTER - Former state rep and city councilor Chuck Grassie, who said winning the mayor's office last November was "the top of the mountain for me" will officially reach that pinnacle on Tuesday evening when he, members of the City Council, School Board and Police Commission will all be sworn in during their inauguration at the Rochester Opera House inside City Hall.
Some of the new city councilors being sworn in for their first time in office are Susan Rice of Ward 5 and Christine Ghianotti of Ward 3.
Meanwhile, state Sen. and former city councilor Jim Gray will be sworn in as a police commissioner for his first time.
The ceremony begins at 6 p.m., and the public is invited to attend.
