Mass. Man nabbed speeding at 142 mph on Route 16

ROCHESTER - State Police say they clocked a Massachusetts man headed south on Route 16 in Rochester speeding at 142 mph on Sunday.

The vehicle was spotted around 8 a.m. and finally stopped at the Rochester tolls where they arrested 20-year-old Christopher M. Fren of Franklin.

Fren was charged with reckless operation and released on personal recognizance pending a May court date in Rochester District Court.
