ROCHESTER - Mary L. Conroy, 94, died peacefully Sunday July 28, 2024, at the Studley Home in Rochester, following a period of failing health.

Born June 28, 1930, in Wolfeboro, was the daughter of Leonel and Mary (Berry) Moore.

Mary was an elementary school teacher for many years at Barrington Elementary School. She was an active communicant of St. Mary Church in Rochester. She was a lover of both art and music, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She'll always be remembered as a gentle, caring, creative, and happy person. Her knitted trinkets, homemade holiday cards, and perpetual jokes will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Members of her family include her grandchildren Sean Conroy of Gonic; Elodie Reed of Vermont; and Michaela Evans of Colorado; one great-grandchild Heidi Conroy, one sister Jean Moore-Younes of New York; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Rogers Conroy, her three children Martin Conroy, Kerry Reed, and Michael Conroy, and one granddaughter Erin Conroy.
