ROCHESTER - A Manchester man was killed on Sunday in a three-car accident on North Main Street.

Police said David Perkins, 50, was driving a Honda Civic in the vicinity of Taco Bell when he crossed the center line and plowed head-on into a Toyota Camry driven by Troy Raymond, 33, of Manchester, around 10:35 a.m.

The Civic then crashed into a Chevrolet pickup truck driven by David Thomas, 50, of Rochester.

Perkins was pronounced dead soon after his arrival at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

Raymond and Thomas suffered minor injuries.

North Main Street was closed for a period of time as a Technical Accident Reconstruction team investigated the crash.

A preliminary investigation showed that Perkins was headed north when he crossed into the southbound lane.
