ROCHESTER - A transient was arrested by Rochester Police on Wednesday in a string of burglaries that occurred in the city over July and August.
Kevin D Brochu, 24, was charged with five separate counts of burglary for five homes that he targeted, one count of theft by deception and one count of possession of drugs.
Police were able to catch up with the suspect after one of the items alleged to have been stolen was recovered at a local pawn shop.
Police said additional charges are expected against Brochu, who was held without bail pending his arraignment today.
The burglary charges are all Class B felonies, the others misdemeanors.
