DERRY - The man injured in an officer-involved shooting on Friday was out of the hospital on Saturday and has been released on bail.
Levi Coltey, 26, is charged with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon (vehicle), disobeying police and resisting arrest.
Coltey was arrested after leading police on a chase following an attempted traffic stop around 9:20 p.m. on the Route 28 Bypass.
During the chase he allegedly tried to run police cruisers off the road.
The shooting occurred during a confrontation with police after they attempted to stop Coltey's vehicle a second time.
The investigation into the officer's use of deadly force is being investigated by the New Hampshire Department of Justice and the New Hampshire State Police Major Crimes Unit.
The identity of the officer will not be disclosed until a formal interview takes place, police say. This is expected to occur sometime this week.
