MANCHESTER - The man convicted in the shooting death of another man outside a Manchester bar was sentenced on Friday to 27 years to life.
John Delee, 23, of Salem, fatally shot 24-year-old Timothy Pouliot outside the Goat Bar and Grill on Jan. 29, 2023. Delee was also sentenced on a class B felony count of reckless conduct with a deadly weapon. He was found guilty of both charges on Dec. 5 following a jury trial.
Pouliot died at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds around 12:50 a.m. after an argument inside the bar spilled out onto the street.
Defense lawyers said Delee was acting in self-defense.
