Man charged with first degree assault in Madbury stabbing

MADBURY - A Madbury man was arrested on Tuesday after police say he stabbed another man multiple times.
State Police responded to Bunker Hill Lane around 5:50 p.m. for a report of an altercation and found the two who were involved had been separated.
The victim, who had sustained multiple stab wounds, was taken to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for treatment of nonlife threatening injuries.
Paul Howard, 36, was first transported to the Dover Emergency Room for treatment of minor injuries then to Strafford County Jail.
He was charged with four counts of first degree assault and will be arraigned at Strafford Superior Court today.
