Major Northern Seacoast snowstorm expected to impact both Friday commutes

Powerful winds pummeled the Greater Rochester early today ushering in frigid weather as a massive snowstorm that could wreak havoc on both ends of Friday's commutes bears down on the region.
The snow is expected to begin in earnest around 1 a.m. on Friday at rates of greater than an inch and hour that could continue all the way till the early evening, according to Accuweather.
Anywhere between eight and 12 inches is expected before it winds down after midnight Friday.
Temps won't get above the freezing mark today, but they'll rebound slightly for the weekend with highs Saturday of 32 and 36 on Sunday, which could be a bit blustery.
