MEXICO, Maine - A Maine man was arrested on Sunday in the shooting death of his 27-year-old stepson.
Mexico and Rumford Police responded around 1 p.m. on Saturday for a report of a shooting at 32 Intervale Ave. in Mexico.
When they arrived they found Nicholas Trynor of Mexico dead.
Maine State Police Major Crime Unit Detectives were called in to assist in the investigation and worked throughout the night into Sunday before arresting Thomas Tellier, 52, of Mexico, in his stepson's death.
No motive for the killing was released.
Tellier was transported to the Oxford County Jail on a murder charge, He will be arraigned later this week in Oxford County Superior Court.
