Lorraine Marcotte Nason died Dec. 11, 2020 from complications of Covid-19 while living in Solsberry, Ind.

She was born in Rochester, N.H. on Oct 23, 1932, the daughter of Albert Marcotte Sr. and Elbea Turmelle Marcotte of Dover, N.H. She attended school in Dover, graduating from Saint Mary Academy High School for Girls in 1951.

She married Lawrence Waldo Nason, her husband of 57 years on June 7, 1952 and had two children, a son and daughter.

Lorraine and Larry owned and operated the Exeter Flower Shop from March of 1957 through March of 1998 and she was an active member in many nationwide Floral and local Civic organizations. She loved crafting and made ceramics for a hobby.

She was predeceased by her husband (2009), her brother Albert Marcotte, and her sister Lucille Young.

Lorraine leaves her sisters Olive Staples, Claire Caswell, and her sister in law Sylvia Marcotte, all from the Dover area as well as a son Robert Nason and his husband Raymond Morin of Tustin, Calif., a daughter Kathilyn Nason Teague, her husband Robert Teague, grandsons Bryce Teague and Brody Teague of Solsberry, along with step-grandchildren Bryanna Wooldridge, Brandon Teague, Brooke Breazeal and great-grandson Behr Breazeal.
