Lisa Hillsgrove ... enjoyed hiking, collecting seashells

ROCHESTER - Lisa M. Hillsgrove (Thurston) 62, died on Oct. 6th 2021 at Cheshire Medical Center in Keene surrounded by her family.

Born on Sept. 23, 1959. in Rochester, she was the daughter of Richard and Judith Thurston aka (Dick and Judy). Lisa graduated from Spaulding High school in 1977.

The things that brought the most joy to her heart were cooking for crowds of people, being the "party planner" and making her home feel warm and welcoming to all. Watching her daughter Cari and her friends create childhood memories, and spending time with her "little buddy" her grandson, Camden; either building legos or watching movies.

Her favorite pastimes were traveling; road trips, hiking, long walks on the beach collecting shells, sports, camping and playing cards.

Survivors include her daughter Cari Hillsgrove, grandchild Camden Phinney, her mother Judith Thurston, and her sister Sheri Thurston.

Left behind Lisa also had several nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
