ROCHESTER - Rochester's annual Lilac Family Fun Festival and Fireworks celebration is set for July 13 from 4-9 pm.
The event is a family-friendly celebration offering free admission to kiddie carnival rides, live music and entertainment, activities and games, food trucks, vendors, and the best fireworks show in New Hampshire, according to organizers.
Parking will be limited on-site. Participants are instructed to utilize street parking and other nearby municipal lots as much as possible. Anyone who is able is encouraged to park downtown and walk to the event.
To accommodate the fireworks show, Chestnut Hill Road (from Hillsdale Road to the start of the Potter's House Café Plaza) will be closed from 8:45 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Please seek alternative routes during this time period.
The Lilac Family Fun Festival and Fireworks will take place at Spaulding High School and the James W. Foley Memorial Community Center, 150 Wakefield Street. To learn more about the event, visit www.rochesternh.gov/fun.
