LEBANON - A Lebanon man has been indicted in a domestic violence assault in which he allegedly choked his girlfriend.

Anthony Baker, 45, of 160 Upper Middle Road, faces charges of aggravated assault/with indifference and domestic assault, both felonies.

Maine State Trooper David Coflesky said Rochester Police were first involved after Frisbie Memorial Hospital staff filed a report after seeing the woman’s injuries.

After Rochester Police determined the assault occurred in Lebanon it was turned over to Maine State Police.

Baker was convicted of a previous domestic assault in 2008.

He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that enough evidence has been gathered to warrant a trial.
