DOVER, N.H. - A Lebanon man has been indicted as a habitual offender in New Hampshire after allegedly driving on public roadways of Rochester and Dover earlier this year.
Both charges are felonies and could land Arthur Lane, 34, of 23 Milton Mills Road in jail up to 10 years.
Lane, who was declared a habitual offender in May 2007, was found driving on Jan. 12 in Dover, N.H., and on June 16 on Route 16 in Rochester.
The Strafford County grand jury indictments were handed down on Oct. 15 and released on Tuesday.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to warrant a trial.
