ROCHESTER - James C. McBride, 90, died Wednesday September 11, 2024, at the Dover Rehabilitation Center in Dover, following a period of failing health.
Born July 8, 1934, in Wolfeboro, he was the son of Frank and Helen (McHugh) McBride.
Mr. McBride served in the Marine Corps and later worked for thirty-four years for General Electric. He was a member of the American Legion in Wolfeboro and Rochester for over 30 years.
James was a fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. He enjoyed tinkering with his tractors and snowblowers, and more than anything he loved spending time with his family.
Members of his family include his wife Sarah (Holmes) McBride of Rochester; his children Kimberly McBride of Wolfeboro; Kelley Bushman of Ossipee; Christine McBride of Rochester; and Judith McSheehan and husband Robert of Rochester; he leaves behind a few great-grandchildren, ten grandchildren, and one expected great-grandchild, and his sister Corrine Hooper, as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Michael McBride, and his granddaughter Ashley Millette.
