Strafford County Sheriff Mark Brave appears in mugshot from booking at State Police Troop A barracks in Epping

CONCORD - The state is looking to revoke Strafford County Mark Brave's bail based on new allegations of perjury and that he no longer lives in New Hampshire, a requirement of the office.
If the motions are successful, Brave could end up in Strafford County Jail - across the street from his old office - while awaiting trial.
Brave is currently free and receiving his $60,000 a year salary after agreeing to an administrative leave while his case is adjudicated.
He stands accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the county by taking multiple trips to fictitious events for the purpose of romantic liaisons with multiple women.
The AG's office contends that Brave is currently living in Tewksbury, Mass.
Brave recently sought to obtain a public defender to represent him, but officials denied the request.
Prosecutors pointed to the sale of his million dollar Dover home, some proceeds of which were allegedly used to by a classic Porsche, which was found to be garaged in Tewksbury.
Brave, a Democrat, was elected sheriff in 2020 and 2022, and told The Rochester Voice earlier this year that Strafford County commissioners had it out for him soon after his re-election.
He says the county's attempt to oust him is based on lies and racism.
According to the AG's Office, in a video sent them from the Strafford County Sheriff's Office last month a 1968 Porsche 356 Cabriolet can be seen, with Brave stating on the video that the vehicle had just been delivered.
The video is date-stamped Oct. 17, and shows the GPS location as Tewksbury.
