How sweet it is! After handful of tries, Lexi takes home Miss Hampton Beach crown

HAMPTON -- After placing in the top five a half dozen times before, Lexi Taylor of Rochester took it to the next level at the 2023 Miss Hampton Beach beauty contest, taking home the first-place crown.
This was not her first crown, however.
The Spaulding High School grad, now 21, won Miss New Hampshire U.S.A. Ambassador Teen in 2018 as well as Miss Acton Fair in 2015 and the Miss Holly Jolly title in 2017.
About a dozen contestants from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island competed in Sunday's event.
Taylor is currently a senior at UNH studying for her nursing degree.
While attending Spaulding High Taylor was a member of the school's chorus and drama club.
She also volunteered at Gerry's Emergency Food Pantry and Share Fund Superhero Hunger Food Drive in Rochester, as well as the Penguin Plunge that benefits Special Olympics.
