DOVER - Hazel W. Kidney, 92, of Dover, died peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at Watson Fields in Dover.
She was born on July 25, 1932, in Dover to Carl and Emma (Hudson) Frost.
Hazel attended and graduated from Dover High School, class of 1952. Making friends wherever she went, she turned classmates into lifelong friends, keeping in contact with many of them throughout the years. She spent portions of her working career as a hairdresser, then later working at General Electric and her real passion, as a homemaker. Hazel loved shopping and going out to lunch. She loved sports, the New England Patriots and Notre Dame football topping her favorites list. Hazel's real love was camping with her family. The annual July two-week camping trip created family memories that have lasted a lifetime, finally settled at a seasonal site Wolfeboro/Alton area after camping all over the country.
She is predeceased by her husband of over 69 years, James Kidney Sr., brother Carl and George Frost, sister Anna Blaisdell. Survivors include James (Pamela) Kidney, Jr. of Berwick, Maine, Douglas Kidney of Seabrook, Cheryl (David)Boudreau of Athens, Maine, and Kathleen (Robert) Lessard of Dover; sister; Nina Camire of Newmarket; grandchildren Seamus (Liz) Kidney, Ceili (Chris) Barnes, Jill Garnett-Kidney, Anna Marie (Shawn Lefebvre) Garmon, Kristina Garmon, Holly (Ken) Austin and Jon (Ally) Lessard and 10 great grandchildren. She was loved deeply by her family and will be missed by all.
