To the Editor:
It is not by accident the system of government our Founders drafted consisted of executive, legislative and judicial branches of power. The source was God's holy Word, Isaiah 33:22: "God is the Lawmaker the Judge and the King."
In my 11/4 OP-ED, I identified then, the in-process goal of the enemies of constitutional republicanism guaranteed to each state in Article IV of the Constitution by quoting John Steinbacher's incisive words spoken in 1970: "All you have to do to take over a nation is change their religion." This enemy within then identified as Anti-Americanitus, here I change to be called "Cultural Wokeism Disorder" (CWD). This is a cultural flow of destruction seeded by the moral decline of our people affecting all human institutions.
This century old CWD is based on Karl Marx's perverted wisdom viewing religion as the "opiate of the people" and propagating the abolition of the family which now challenges moral decency and dominates government policy. In the 1960s, responding to this CWD revolution spearheaded by Supreme Court rulings attacking biblical morality, The John Birch Society (JBS) created an ad hoc committee called The Movement To Restore Decency. JBS exposed the evils of abortion long before Roe V Wade and the evils of pornography now grown into the LBGTQ+ sexual revolution. Throughout history, freedom with morality together are the parents of liberty. Biblical Christianity and the Ten Commandments are the basic foundation of Western civilization and the true reason for "American Exceptionalism." This foundation must be restored to defeat the atheistic Marxist ignited blueprint changing the religion of the American people.
The prophetic words of Scottish historian from University of Edinburg in the 17th century, today, give us a historical word picture describing this historical process identifying this common path the America experiment of self-government follows:
"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history has been about 200 years. During those 200 years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage"
Do you recognize why dependence on government is dangerous? This is why the framers drafted the Constitution featuring "division of power." Realizing the fallen nature of man is more vulnerable to corruption in seats of power, the framers sought to control the lust for power. The Constitution is only a tool of control. Jefferson's powerful dictum we should follow without hesitation: "Speak not to me of confidence in men. But bind them down from mischief to the chains of the Constitution." Self-government demands responsibility. Learn how to use the greatest tool to deter tyranny in all history. Attend one of the many six week seminars called, "The Constitution is the Solution."
