'Get the US out of the UN and get the UN out of US'

In the 1960s after just 15 years of America's retreat from victory, surrendering to the United Nations control of our military, the John Birch Society saw the fast-approaching danger to American liberty. For they knew that United States membership in the UN was national suicide. Boldly, with their educational army only several years old, they challenged the American establishment, the Deep State, Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), unelected rulers who dominated the State Department, then, as they are still striving to do today. Kicking off the JBS, "GET US OUT OF THE UN AND GET THE UN OUT OF THE US", campaign that circumvented the prostitute legacy media, now for over 6 decades is, stronger than ever.

Sounding the alarm, Birchers didn't make any friends with the media. We were telling the American people what they didn't want to hear, that our government in 1945 betrayed American sovereignty, when they voted to accept the UN Charter drafted by Soviet Communist Agent Alger Hiss and his Soviet comrade, Soviet Foreign Minister Andrea Gromyko. As sure as night follows day, by 1950, President Truman sent American soldiers to battle in Korea, calling it a police action - authorized by surrendering our power to "declare war" to the UN Security Council. Some thirty thousand lives of America's finest youth gave the ultimate price, many with their casket draped with the UN flag, while moms and dads and wives suffered their loss for a lifetime.

Thereafter, in another costly blunder of collective cowardice, congress failed to challenge UN/SEATO authority, by not voting to, "declare war on North Vietnam." Hundreds of thousands served, leaving the blood of 58,000 left on the battlefield. Over many decades the tide started turning against the UN. Numerous billboard signs along the highways continued. On UN Day, October 24th, 25: "The Maclver Institute, a Wisconsin-based think tank, joined the battle in an article called, "Strong Nations, Not the United Nations," calling for the withdrawal from the UN. Chapter Leader Lennard Wilson responded to President William F. Jasper's call for more billboards, reporting to HQ that his pickup truck carried two 4X8 Get Us Out signs wherever he went. And their chapter together, followed his example: "...they are doing their part and now have twenty-two 4X8 billboards up, including one that's illuminated for around-the-clock viewing. He also said that he gives all the glory to God" for his chapter's efforts."

Mr. Robert Welch JBS Founder many times challenged the people to become warriors for liberty to help save our nation from the planned tyranny of globalism, by saying: "Come join us in our proud and epic undertaking." And many have as he related: "by becoming pullers at the oars not just passengers in the boat." Throughout the decades many other organizations have followed our lead. We are winning the battle for independence and freedom. Once again, the light of the restoration of liberty and independence is coming out of the dark tunnel. However, this time, it will take a much higher percentage than the 3% that defeated Great Britain, the greatest military power of the day.

What it will take is ordinary Americans doing extraordinary things through a plan of action through the JBS. We have now succeeded in getting legislation both in the Senate and the House to support the Defund Act to Get Us Out.
