CONCORD - Former "Fugitive of the Week" John Robert Wentworth III surrendered to members of the U.S. Marshals - NH Joint Fugitive Task Force and the Strafford County Sheriff's Office Tuesday afternoon in Rochester.

Wentworth, 31, was being sought on two outstanding arrest warrants including a parole violation stemming from an original conviction and sentence for burglary, as well as a Strafford County Superior Court warrant for bail violations on a cocaine charge.

Wentworth had been featured as the "Fugitive of the Week" this past Wednesday.

A short time after Wentworth was featured multiple tips were received pointing to a couple of locations in Rochester.

The Task Force did multiple interviews and surveillance, which led to Wentworth calling in and arranging for his surrender on Tuesday. He surrendered to the task force and was transported to the Strafford County Jail for processing and holding pending his initial court appearance.
