ROCHESTER - Four Rochester residents were displaced early today when fire broke out at a home on Charles Street.
Firefighters were first called to the one-alarm blaze at 129 Charles St. at 3:15 a.m.
The Red Cross reported that two adults and two children live at the home and were being assisted by Red Cross volunteers.
Rochester Capt. Eric Lenzi reported today there were no injuries as a result of the fire.
Two pets also escaped unharmed.
Somersworth and Milton firefighters assisted at the scene, with Rochester firefighters clearing the area around 6 a.m., Lenzi said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined pending further investigation.
