Fatal Plymouth officer-involved shootng remains under investigation

PLYMOUTH - An officer-involved shooting that occurred on Thursday at 27 Route 25 in Plymouth remains under investigation.

Kevin Steinfeldt. 58 of Plymouth, was shot in the early morning hours.

An announcement regarding Steinfeldt's cause and manner of death is pending further testing from the autopsy, according to a relase sent Tuesday from the Attorney General's Office.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident also remain under investigation.
