Members of the Londonderry Fire Department responded to render medical aid however, the adult male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Currently, there is no known threat to the public, and there are no reports of injuries to any individuals or police officers. However, the location of the shooting event on Winding Pond Road in the area of Lincoln Drive is near the entrance to a heavily populated condominium complex and the ongoing investigation required police to close the roadway for several hours.
The earlier incident involved Levi Coltey, 26, who was shot by an officer on Friday after leading police on a chase following an attempted traffic stop around 9:20 p.m. on the Route 28 Bypass.
Coltey was struck by gunfire and hospitalized overnight. He is currently being held without bail for reckless conduct with a deadly weapon (vehicle), disobeying police and resisting arrest.
