Farmington man charged in car-bike collision

ROCHESTER - A Farmington man was charged with negligent driving after his car collided with a Rochester bicyclist on Sunday.

The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. when a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer, operated by Zackary Fisher, 26, of 1060 Ten Rod Road in Farmington, was traveling west on Highland Street, police said.

Fisher's vehicle struck the bicyclist who was identified as Sean Harmon, 44, of 17 Winter St., Apt. 4, in Rochester.  Harmon was also traveling west.  He was taken to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife-threatening injuries. 

Fisher will be arraigned next month.
