ROCHESTER - Police today are on the lookout for a purse snatcher who wrested it away from an elderly woman outside the Rochester Walgreen's on Tuesday.

The brazen attack occurred in broad daylight around 9:20 a.m.

The 82-year-old victim was on the Columbus Avenue side of the store when a man approached her, grabbed the purse out of her hands and fled behind the People's United Bank on the other side of the Walgreen's building. The victim was not injured and did not fall during the incident. The suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing and a dark ball cap. A New Hampshire State Police K9 unit responded to the scene but the track was unsuccessful.
