ROCHESTER - Eileen Mardel Parsell, 88, a resident of Watson Fields in Dover, died peacefully Saturday March 21, 2015 at her residence.
Eileen was born in Jerseyville, Ill., November 7, 1926. Eileen has been a longtime resident of Rochester, New Hampshire.
She retired in 1992 from the Rochester School System where she left her legacy as a 6th grade school teacher at Gonic School from 1971 until retiring 21 years later in 1992.
Outside of her love for teaching was her love for her farm. She loved her farm stand and loved socializing with everyone who stopped in. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rochester.
Eileen is preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Parsell. She will be greatly missed by her two sons; Robert Parsell and wife Kaaren of Lafayette, Indiana and Randy Parsell and wife Susan of Rochester; her daughter Renee (Parsell) Roberts and husband Randy of Durham, N.C.; her Grandsons and Granddaughters: Jason Parsell and wife Elizabeth of Wisconsin; Daniel Parsell and wife Corrie of Chicago, Illinois; Sherry Libby and husband Dusty of Rochester; Lisa Hernandez-Parsell and husband Fermin of Rochester; Christopher Parsell and wife Melissa of Rochester; Patrick Parsell of Indianapolis, Indiana; Regina Roberts of Durham, N.C.; Reece Roberts of Durham, N.C.; her six Great-Grandchilren: Kyle, Justin, Charlotte, Bennett, Alejandra, Natalia; her longtime close friend Nancy Loud; her extended family at Watson Fields; and her brother Donald Little and sister Delores Meek both of Illinois.
