ROCHESTER - Edwin H. "Eddie" Walker, 65, of Wyandotte Falls died on Dec. 16, 2019 at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine after a brief illness.

He was born Aug. 10, 1954 in Rochester, the son of Edwin L. and Edna Walker. Eddie had resided in Rochester all of his life where he worked for Lachance Trucking, as a custodian for the Rochester Police Dept, and as a maintenance worker at the Rochester Fairgrounds.

Ed enjoyed spending time visiting with friends and frequenting the local businesses in Rochester. Often seen downtown walking, he always had a quick word for everyone he came in contact with.

He was a member of Tri-City Coop and had sat on their board for a brief time. He later tried his hand at city politics running for City Council this past year. He had a great fondness and pride for the City of Rochester.

Member of his family include his brother and wife Fred and Judie Vermette; sister, Charlene Randall; sister and husband Gloria and Robert Phillips; son, Edwin Walker and numerous nieces and nephews.
