East Rochester man dies in late night rollover on North Main St.

ROCHESTER - A 30-year-old Rochester man is dead after police say his vehicle crashed into a parked car on North Main Street and rolled over early today.

The crash occurred around 3:25 a.m. in the area of Maple Street when a preliminary investigation revealed that a 2012 Jeep Rubicon was traveling south on North Main Street when it veered across the northbound lane and rolled over after striking a parked 2001 Ford Escape.

The driver of the Jeep, Glenn L. Patch, of East Rochester, was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

North Main Street was closed for about two hours during the investigation.

Police did not release a possible cause for the crash, which remains under investigation.
