Dover woman chosen as first executive director at Our Place NH

DOVER - Our Place NH is announced on Wednesday that Anna Boudreau of Dover has been selected as its first executive director.

Our Place NH's mission is to provide residential options, services and support designed to meet the needs of adults with intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD).

Boudreau has more than two decades of experience in nonprofit management, board development, donor cultivation and fund-raising, according to a statement from Our Place. Although most of her work has been focused on land conservation, her transferable skills can be applied to any non-profit organization in the state.

Prior to coming to Our Place NH, Boudreau served as the Development Director at the Lakes Region Conservation Trust (LRCT) and oversaw the development and fund-raising work of the organization. Her main role was to build relationships with people and organizations in order to secure philanthropic support for LRCT's various programs and land conservation efforts. After working in the Lakes Region for the past 4 years, she decided it was time to return to the Seacoast and put her skills to work serving her community a bit closer to home.

Boudreau also spent five years at Truslow Resource Consulting of Portsmouth, and for nearly 10 years prior to that, served as the executive director of the Strafford Rivers Conservancy (now merged with Southeast Land Trust of NH).

Boudreau holds a B.S. in Community Development from the University of New Hampshire and has spent over two decades as a dedicated UNH Extension volunteer, which inspired her to become a founding member of the City of Dover Open Lands Committee in 2000, which she now chairs.
