Dover woman arrested after leading police on chase through four towns

FARMINGTON - A Dover woman was arrested on Tuesday after leading police on a chase through several towns before crashing into a snowbank in Wolfeboro.

State Police got involved around 10:25 p.m. when a trooper from Troop A barracks attempted a traffic stop on a 2005 Honda Civic on Route 11 in Farmington for speed, and registration violations.

The vehicle immediately fled onto Route 153 North where it appeared to have lane control issues, according to a press release sent out today.

The pursuit continued on Route 153 through the towns of Farmington, Milton, Middleton and Wolfeboro where the vehicle crashed into a snowbank on Route 28.

The operator then got out of the vehicle but was noncompliant with law enforcement, police say.

Adriana Dion, 33, of Dover, was ultimately taken into custody and transported to a local hospital, where she was found to have suffered no injury from the crash.

Dion was charged with reckless conduct (Class B felony), criminal mischief (Class B Felony), disobeying an officer (Class A Misdemeanor), resisting arrest (Class A Misdemeanor), reckless operation (Violation), operating after suspension (Violation) and lane control (Violation). Dion was released on personal recognizance bail pending a court appearance next month.
