DOVER - A Dover drug dealer was sentenced to at least one year in state prison on Friday.
Zachary T. Hudson, 24, pleaded guilty to five counts of trafficking drugs out of his Locust Street apartment.
His arrest in July followed a two-month investigation into heroin/fentanyl sales.
Fifty-one grams of fentanyl were seized during the investigation, according to the sheriff's office. When the search warrant was executed, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and approximately $4,000 in cash were seized.
Hudson was sentenced to two and a half to five years, but with suspended sentences off minimum and maximum sentences he could be released in just a year.
Assistant County Attorney Kathryn Smykowski said she asked Judge Daniel Will to impose the full two and a half to five year sentence, while Hudson's attorney argued for a fully suspended sentence.
