LIMINGTON, Maine - When you're in law enforcement you never know what the shift may bring.

One day you may be trying to track down a suspect in a theft case.

The next you might be tracking down a wayward horse on the run from its owner.

That's what happened to York County Sheriff's Sgt. David Chauvette, who was patrolling the roadways of Limington on Thursday when he encountered a large subject, later identified as "Dexter," fleeing from its owners.

Chauvette jumped into action and commenced a pursuit of the suspect, who turned into a development. After several minutes of twists and turns, the suspect was reunited (captured) with its owner.
