ROCHESTER - Darlene Harrington died on July 18, 2022. She was born in Rochester on March 27, 1960. Darlene was raised and lovingly cared for by her family. Although Darlene had severe mental disabilities and could not talk, read, write or care for herself, she enjoyed life immensely. She was always laughing. She was very curious and loved to go places. She loved the lake and the ocean. She loved good food and restaurants. She also loved calculators and computers and her iPad. She enjoyed music as well. She especially loved to play silly copycat games. She thrived on the love that surrounded her.

Darlene is survived by her two sisters and their spouses; Diane Lucas and spouse John Lucas, Denise Pratt and spouse Eugene Pratt, and one brother; Jeff Harrington and spouse Lori Harrington. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Arlene Harrington.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Pattie and Al Dumont, for their loving care of Darlene for these last nine years.

We will all sorely miss our little Peanut, and her infectious giggle. She was our bright light. She spread love everywhere she went. We will hold her in our hearts forever.
