We're not out of the woods, but there's some light at the end of the tunnel.
This morning's snow may be the last we'll see till November.
Forecasters predict the white stuff will come down for another hour or so before turning mostly to rain, sometimes heavy, through the weekend and into the early hours Monday.
The rain will be heaviest from mid-afternoon today till late this evening with temperatures hovering in the mid-30s before rising into the upper 30s overnight.
A soaking rain will continue off and on Sunday with temps going into the upper 40s and reaching the 50-degree mark late Sunday afternoon.
Skies will then clear overnight and the sun comes back on Monday with a high of 65.
Looking ahead, Accuweather's long-range forecast predicts no more frosts.
But again, this is New England.
