FARMINGTON - Constance Ann Kastberg, 71, of Farmington died on Oct. 29, 2021. Connie was born in Melrose Mass., the daughter of Sylvia and William Kastberg and grew up in Melrose and Lebanon Maine. She graduated from Colby-Sawyer College with an Associate's degree in 1970. She raised a family of three sons, Adam, Daniel and Evan in Lebanon. Connie later earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Southern Maine. She worked as a paraprofessional at several area schools where she supported the development of young people.

Connie enjoyed baking, gardening, biking, running, reading, snowshoeing, ice skating, hiking and spending time with her family. She took great pride in creating and maintaining gardens and landscaping around her home. Connie was kind, generous and always willing to lend a helping hand. She appreciated the beauty of nature and supported local conservation organizations. She especially loved spending time with her children and her four grandchildren.

She is survived by her siblings, Linda Pieper, Catherine Kastberg and James Kastberg, her sons, Adam Hickey and his wife Katie Goulet, Daniel Hickey and his wife Sandra, Evan Hickey and his wife Tiffany and grandchildren Sarah, Remington, Liberty and Selleck as well as her former spouse and the father of her children, Daniel J. Hickey.
