City's Pride Day set for Hanson Street next Saturday

ROCHESTER - A pet talent/fashion show and a collaborative art project will be among the highlights of a Rochester Pride Day event next Saturday.

The celebration of the LGBTQ community will be held from noon-3 p.m. on Hanson Street.

Participating in this year's Pride Day are community health and advocacy support organizations including SOS, 603Equality, Lovering Health Center, Wentworth Douglass, Waypoint and First Congregational Church.

RiverStones Custom Framing is hosting the seventh annual Seacoast LGBT History Project exhibit featuring the story of UNH's Gay Student Organization.

There will also be a Pet Talent/Fashion Show at 1:30 with prizes from Mr. Sippy BBQ and JetPack Comics, and a collaborative art project.

In addition, there will be after parties at Fallen Leaf Bistro (for adults) and Bean Me Up Café (for families).
