City needs civic-minded folk to fill several government boards

ROCHESTER - The city is looking for several residents to step forward and fill multiple positions that are currently vacant on various boards and commission throughout city government.

The list of vacancies include:

Planning Board: 2 Alternate Members

Historic District Commission: 1 Regular Member, 4 Alternate Members

Conservation Commission: 1 Regular Member

Arts & Culture Commission: 2 Regular Members

Zoning Board of Adjustment: 1 Regular Member, 2 Alternate Members

"Serving on City Boards and Commissions is a great way to get involved in the community and stay informed of city initiatives," said Planning and Development Board director Shanna Saunders "I encourage anyone interested to learn more about each commission, board focus, and meeting schedule by visiting our website or calling the Planning Department."
