FARMINGTON - Christopher Earl "Carp" "Carpy" Carpenter, 55, of 112 Elm St. died Saturday, August 1st, 2015 as a result of an accident. He was born in Rochester, NH on July 15th, 1960, son of the late Earl Carpenter and Germaine Ricker. He resided in this area most of his life, graduated from Spaulding High School in 1978, and later received his BA from UNH. Christopher was an educator, sports coach, counselor and avid sportsman. He served in the Army National Guards and Navy for six years and worked for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for twelve years. He deeply loved his family and friends and touched the lives of many people. Chris's proudest moment was when his son, Timothy, received his Master's Degree in 2015.
Surviving members of his family include: his wife Deborah (Glidden) of 32 years, son, Timothy, brothers David Bushway, Michael Carpenter, Ricky Carpenter, Stephen Ricker, sisters, Kathy Condon, and Linda Quintanilla, in-laws, Ida and Allen Glidden, sisters-in-laws, Kathy Post, and Laurie Graham, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by brother Danny Bushway and stepfather Richard Ricker.
