Christine F. Borodavchuk ... avid Red Sox fan; at 102

BARRINGTON - Christine F. (Berry) Borodavchuk, 102, of Barrington, widow of Vladimir "Chuck" Borodavchuk, died peacefully on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Watson Fields in Dover.

She was born on July 4, 1921, in Barrington on the family farm to Warren W. And Eva M. (Mattox) Berry. Chris attended the Winkley School in Barrington and was a graduate of Dover High School, Class of 1939.

Chris was a member of NARFE Rochester Chapter No. 1055 and served as both secretary and treasurer for many years.

She loved sports, especially baseball, and was an avid Red Sox, Patriots and UNH Hockey fan.

Besides her husband, Chuck, Chris was preceded in death by sisters, Thelma B. Ward, Althea D. Berry, and Barbara B. Berry; nephews, Fred G. Ward, Jr, Anthony Borodavchuk, and Warren Ward; nieces, Dorothy L. Ward and Constance Ward.

Survivors include nieces, Shirley Peatfield of Danbury, Conn., and Martha-Jo Garnett and her husband, Mark of Florida; several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
