Chamber will begin taking donations for Strafford County Homeless Center today

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce has announced its holiday season Collection for the Homeless, which benefits children at the Homeless Center For Strafford County.
Items being collected include new books for children ages 8-17, new puzzles for children ages 12+, toilet paper and paper towels. Items may be brought to the Chamber office today through Dec. 15. A collection box will also be available at the Holiday Tree Lighting on Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Other items needed by the Homeless Center for Strafford County include:

Paper towels
Kids craft kits
Pillow cases
Twin sheets
Full Sheets
Mayo (small containers if possible)
Beefaroni and ravioli canned (normal sized not the giant cans)
Healthy kids snacks
Microwave popcorn
Annie's snacks
Sugar free apple sauce
Gluten free pasta
Gluten free snacks
Canned milk
Powdered milk
Bottled water
Powdered creamer
Rice Chex cereal (gluten free)
Cheerios (gluten free)
Breads and rolls that can be frozen
Cooking oils (olive and veg oil, small bottles)
Spray cooking spray
Crisco (smaller containers)
Gluten free baking mixes
Gluten free flour
Any type of gift card for grocery stores
