Case spikes continue with eight new cases reported in Strafford County

CONCORD - The trend of higher case counts continued on Tuesday with DHHS announcing 85 new positive test results for COVID-19, including 11 individuals under 18 and eight from Strafford County.

The positivity rate, however, remained low at .9 percent.

Locally, current cases in Rochester dropped to eight, while Dover remains the county hot spot with 17 followed by Durham with 11. Other local cities and towns include Somersworth, Barrington, Farmington and Milton at 1-5 and Strafford with none.

Two new hospitalized cases were reported for a current total of 16.
