ROCHESTER - A shoplifting arrest at JC Penney on Thursday turned into a treasure trove of drug charges for an Ossipee woman.

It all began when Rochester Dispatch was advised of an active female shoplifter at the store around 6:10 p.m.

Officers en route were told that a woman was stuffing numerous items in her large purse. Later they were advised the suspect was headed toward the fitting rooms and still later that she had left.

Upon officers arrival, they made contact with a Joslynn Bunnell, who had merchandise in her bag. They also learned that she had an active Capias from Strafford Superior Court which was issued earlier this month for failure to appear on a fentanyl possession charge.

Bunnell, 32, of 32 Pleasure Lands Glade Road, Ossipee, was arrested on a charge of the Capias and willful concealment, and upon a search following her arrest on the following drug charges as well: three counts of possession of Suboxone, possession of Dextroamphetamine, possession of Clonazpam and possession of crystal meth.

Bunnell was held without bail pending an arraignment today in Strafford County Superior Court.
