Berwick man arrested in Somersworth road rage incident that involved gunplay

SOMERSWORTH - A probe into a downtown road rage incident that occurred earlier this month has resulted in the arrest of a Berwick man on felony Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon charges.
The July 7 incident involved gunfire on Market Street near the Maine line around 8:30 p.m. drawing police who'd been informed that shots were fired.
About 10 minutes following the incident Berwick, Maine, police officers located the suspect vehicle on Rochester Street in Berwick and conducted a motor vehicle stop.
The operator who was the person of interest was detained and later released, and his vehicle was later impounded after police obtained a search warrant.
As a result of the search warrant a firearm and further evidence to indicate shots were fired from the vehicle were recovered, according to a press release sent out today by Somersworth Police.
Subsequently, an arrest warrant was obtained by the Somersworth Police, and the suspect, Dillon S. O'Shea, 34, of Berwick, turned himself in to Somersworth Police on Monday.
O'Shea was released on personal recognizance pending an arraignment on Sept. 9 in Rochester District Court.
