ROCHESTER - Whether you're taking in the big game at a local tavern, a sports bar, at a house party or at home, pretty much everyone agrees the food you munch on and the beverages you enjoy are as much a part of the game as a Gronk spike or a Julian Edelman basket catch. So, let's take a peak around Rochester to find the best a man, or woman, can get. As the GOAT Tom Brady would say, "Let's go!"

First off, not all of Rochester's watering holes will be open for Sunday's 6:30 p.m. game between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams, but enough will that if you like to watch with a crowd you're in luck.

Here's a few we think are worthy of your presence.

Revolution Taproom and Grill

Located downtown on North Main, Revolution offers modern food selections like tapas, or small plates, as well as formidably formed sandwiches and full gourmet dinners.

One sandwich that caught our eye was the Maple Brined Turkey Avocado (Tom Brady swears by avocados btw) Club, made with applewood bacon, vine tomatoes, field greens, avocado on wheat bread for $12.

For apps, try the duck fat popcorn with kimichi spice or smoked cod and squid chowder.

And if you choose your brew wisely be prepared to study a 44-draft menu of IPAs, Belgians, Browns and Ambers. But be careful, some of these bad boys can be a bit stout, such as the Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, which tops in around 8.19 abv.

If it goes to overtime find a taxi or a sober friend.

Buffalo Wild Wings

What Revolution boasts in draft beer, Buffalo Wild Wings, located at Rochester Crossing, makes up with its plethora of TVs and wing-dipping sauces.

They've got 48 high-def televisions including a 10-footer.

Plus BWW has a sturdy array of draft beers as well, with 14.

As long as we're crunching numbers, don't forget their 22 different wings sauces, which go all the way from the novice "barbecue" to "blazin'" according to Andrew, BWW's general manager.

Fresh Vibes

Fresh Vibes, also located on North Main Street, will be open for the game and will have both beer and appetizer specials, said owner Kristina Enis.

Among the food favs most likely to be enjoyed will be their quesadillas, wings and nachos, she said.

Clemento's Pizzeria & Brew

Clemento's Pizzeria & Brew, located at Rochester Crossing in the Kohl's-Lowes plaza on Washington Street, will be open with dollar drafts available during the game.

They'll also have drink specials every time the Patriots score.

Their signature food offering is pizza with the Big Mac and the Heaven and Hell a couple of their top sellers.

The Big Mac is just what you'd expect: crumbled hamburger, Thousand Island dressing, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions.

The Heaven and Hell, meanwhile, is buffalo chicken on one side and bbq chicken on the other with a ranch swirl topper.

Subway

The manager at the North Main Street store today said it's not just for Super Bowl, but every Sunday they have a buy two subs and get one free.

Mo's Italian Sandwiches

Mo's, located at 43 North Main St., will be open till only 4 p.m., but you can still enjoy one of their signature subs during the 12 hours of pregame. And folks with gluten sensitivity: don't forget to take advantage of their gluten-free sub rolls.

Market Basket

For those who want to shop early and enjoy their Super Bowl repast in the comfort of their own home, Market Basket offers everything you need from chips and salsa, to chicken wing, veggie and shrimp platters to special Super Bowl dessert cannolis and more.

One of their biggest Super Bowl sellers is their made to order pizza, our sources tell us. They also have plenty of Patriots regalia, like balloons and such to decorate for your viewing pleasure.

Hannaford's

Hannaford's, also with a nod to the GOAT, has all the fixings for guacamole in plentiful supply and on special, said Chris, a manager at the store. Included on special are avocados, mangos and limes. They also have plenty of chips or nachos for your dipping delight.

Also popular is their veggie trays with hummus dip at $9.95 that serves 12 and their chicken wings, which can be bought either cooked or uncooked at $1.77 a pound.

In summation, bon appetite and Go Pats!
