Barrington man arrested on child porn charges

BARRINGTON - A 43-year-old Barrington man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly downloading child sexual abuse images.

Michael E. Caron, of Ramsdell Lane, Barrington, was charged with five felony counts of possession of child sex abuse images.

According to a police press release, the investigation began last April after police were notified a resident in town was engaged in downloading such images.

On March 11, in cooperation with the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Barrington police executed a search warrant on the Ramsdell Lane apartment and several items were seized. Police said those items were further searched by members of the NHICAC task force. As a result, the arrest warrant was issued.
