Atlantic Broadband announced today that it has officially changed its name to Breezeline. This corporate-wide, transformational journey was first set into motion through the leadership of President Frank van der Post, who joined the former Atlantic Broadband in November 2019.

Van der Post, who previously served as an executive leader in multiple industries, most recently as chief commercial officer for Dutch telecommunications operator, KPN, first began work with the rebranding.

Then, last June, Atlantic Broadband, with its parent company, Cogeco Communications, announced it had acquired broadband systems owned by WideOpenWest in Ohio. Solely an east coast-based company throughout its history, Atlantic Broadband's WOW! systems acquisition meant that the company would soon deliver services far beyond the reach of the Atlantic Ocean, which helped lead to today's renaming.

Atlantic Broadband, now Breezeline, is the eighth largest cable operator in the United States, delivering internet, cable television and telephone services to customers in a dozen states around the country.
