ROCHESTER - Starting this month the Rochester Public Library will no longer charge late fees for overdue materials.

While late fees will no longer be in effect, patrons will still be responsible for the replacement cost of items that are lost, damaged, or not returned in 28 days.

All existing fines will be forgiven, but lost item fees will remain. Interlibrary loans will still accrue late fees at $1 per day as they are a courtesy extended to the RPL by other libraries.

For additional information and general inquiries, call (603) 332-1428 or visit rpl.lib.nh.us.
