Annual Rochester Chamber dinner, awards banquet set for Nov. 6

ROCHESTER - The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce will present its "Reconnecting The Community" Annual Dinner and Awards Banquet on Nov. 6 from 5-9 p.m. at The Oaks Grand Ballroom in Somersworth.

Underwritten by Eversource and Service Credit Union, the banquet celebrates business success, and comes complete with dinner, awards and entertainment. Corporate sponsors to date for the banquet include Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics, Atlantic Broadband, Daystar-Your Technology Partner, Laars Heating Systems, Profile Bank, and Waste Management.

The annual dinner and banquet begins with registration of guests, sponsored by Holy Rosary Credit Union.

There will also be a social hour at 5 p.m., sponsored by Eastern Propane and Oil, during which time complimentary photos will be offered to guests, courtesy of ImaJenAtion Photography.

Event programs will be distributed to guests attending, sponsored by BeMobile Verizon. There will also be a brief program that includes the presentations of the 2021 Business of the Year, 2021 Non-Profit of the Year and 2021 Citizen of the Year awards, sponsored by Index Packaging.

Dinner includes a choice of prime rib au jus or Tuscan chicken will be prepared by The Red Barn.

Decadent desserts are sponsored by Cornerstone VNA.

Attendees will also be treated to musical entertainment throughout the evening, provided by the Nate Therrien Trio, sponsored by Hervey's Tire Co., Inc., Norman Vetter, Inc., and Unitil.

Table centerpieces are sponsored by Yankee Electric & Co., Inc., and decorations are sponsored by Bank of New Hampshire. Technology for the event is being sponsored by D.F. Richard Energy.

First Seacoast Bank will sponsor a Grand Prize Raffle, where one lucky winner will take home $1,500 cash. Tickets are on sale now for $2 each or a book of 6 for $10. Anyone can enter, and you need not be present to win. Tickets for this raffle can be purchased at the Chamber office or online at www.rochesternh.org.

The Annual Dinner & Awards Banquet is open to Chamber members and their guests. The cost to attend is $70 per person. Tickets are limited and are on a first come, first serve basis.
